HESI A2 is an entrance exam that is used by nursing schools to determine a candidate’s ability to do well in nursing school. Many nursing schools review HESI A2 exam scores from candidates to determine whether they can apply for their nursing school. There are 8 categories inside of the HESI A2 exam but each nursing school uses different categories to judge candidates attrition. Some nursing schools want candidates to be tested in all categories and some nursing schools only require candidates to be tested in 4 categories. Both tests include the following subjects; anatomy and physiology, biology, chemistry, English grammar, reading comprehension and mathematics. Both tests are very similar in content.
